Thank you to everyone who joined us for our nineteenth annual Hidalgo Easter Celebration! We were extremely encouraged by how God brought things together. Here’s a quick summary:
- God provided 50 volunteers to lead five stations, five kids’ groups, a teen group, and a ladies’ group.
- 75 kids and teens heard the real Easter story and the Gospel, while having A LOT OF FUN!
- 14 out of 16 women in the Ladies’ Group professed to accepting Jesus as their Saviour (as did the popsicle-cart man who joined them). Many other adults went around with their kids’ groups and got to hear the Gospel there as well. (See a summary video here: https://youtu.be/sFIBGQlo87k)
- 1000 filled Easter Eggs were used for the Easter Egg Hunt (courtesy of the MOPS group at Northwest Bible Church)
- 240 boxed lunches were given away (courtesy of Gateway church!)
